The City of Kuna received $15,000 from Together Treasure Valley in 2017 to help fund an interactive sculpture that spells out “KUNA.” The city of Kuna matched this funding and commissioned an art sculpture to incorporate kid-friendly elements to transform a simple streetscape into a destination for children and families. Kuna’s design committee, stakeholders, and the local community identified Art as an important component of Kuna’s Downtown Revitalization Project. Therefore, this creative use of signage, will encourage children and families to come play, take pictures and have fun in the new Interactive Art Alley to be located in downtown Kuna.
