Housing Idaho Veterans

Together Treasure Valley, a collaboration of area businesses, continues to invest in our communities and has pledged a $50,000 match to the Veterans Housing Project fundraiser. By matching donations dollar for dollar up to $50,000, the Together partners are committed to helping homeless veterans in our community find a safe place to live.

Ada County exceeds the nation average with veterans being 14% of our homeless population. Too often many of our nation’s veterans are returning home from serving their country to find a lack of resources to help them get back on their feet.

The Home Partnership Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign seeking community support to help house those that have bravely served this country. The funding will support the development of a new housing facility of approximately 25 units to provide a lower-barrier or “housing first” model alternative for our veterans in need of services and support to overcome the issues that may have led to their homelessness.

The housing site, to be located on a bus route, will include amenities such as laundry facilities, meeting and recreational space, a computer lab, an external courtyard, a live-in manager and a 24-hour surveillance system.

Please join the Home Partnership Foundation, Idaho Housing and Finance Association, the City of Boise, Together Treasure Valley and many others in supporting this campaign to provide housing for our local veterans.
